Sony unveils waterproof, ultra-thin Xperia Tablet Z
Sony has unveiled Xperia Z smartphone and now emerges with its new ultra-thin device named Xperia Tablet Z at the tablet market.
This tablet runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) out-of-the-box, it has waistline of just 6.9mm and it could be considered as the thinnest tablet available.
The interesting factor about this tablet is the device is shockproof, dust resistant and waterproof body.
The Xperia Tablet Z features a 10.1-inch TFT touchscreen with Mobile Bravia Engine 2 display technology, having image resolution of 1920x1200p. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, coupled with 2GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage, with microSD support of up to 32GB. The tablet has an 8.1MP camera with Exmor R imaging technology and LED flash on the back.
The device is powered by 6,000mAh battery and will be available in black and white colours. Sony intends to launch the device in Japan this spring.
